Tomorrow Is Tonight
An eventful day on the GUTENBERG! THE MUSICAL! front.
THE GOOD NEWS
The show got two Drama Desk Award nominations!
Scott and I were nominated for Outstanding Book Of A Musical and our director, Alex Timbers, was nominated for Outstanding Director Of A Musical!
THE BAD NEWS
GUTENBERG! is closing May 6.
The show will have played 173 performances, which we couldn't be more excited about. It's definitely bittersweet that the show is closing, but six-months is a good run for a little Off-Broadway show (we originally thought it would close March 25). Also a cast album and future productions are in the works for the US and elsewhere (Did someone say Finland? Not kidding.).
And finally - here are a few ads that, as far as I know, never ran anywhere, but that I was very excited about. They're designed by Dyna Moe, who did a lot of our later, awesome imagery for the show.

I'm probably not going to be paid for those, huh? Oh well... good run while it lasted.
Wow! Who would have thought that the two guys messing around in improv at ComedySportz in Chapel Hill would be doing all of this! Great job!
